Positive Energy is a brand new wellness space and brand in Balgowlah, anchoring the urban regeneration of a post-industrial precinct.
Purpose-built on the site of a former printing and stationery warehouse, this facility embeds the inclusive, regenerative and sensory values of the wellness business directly into its architecture.
As the largest commercial project undertaken by Woodward Architects, Positive Energy represents a merging of our high-end residential craft with a bespoke, hospitality-informed sensibility. The result is a fitness environment elevated far beyond the utilitarian norm: warm, tactile and generously detailed to create an immediate sense of welcome.
Spatially, the building is organised around a central garden courtyard, allowing each wellness space to connect with light, landscape and the outdoors. The building contains a fitness studio, spin room, yoga and mediation space, therapy rooms, kids’ play area, juice bar and full amenities. Each is connected, but with its own rhythm, forming a calm, uplifting journey rather than a collection of utility spaces.
