Tottenham infill development is a part of an ongoing collaboration between Matthew Woodward Architecture and Urban Logistics Co to redevelop their industrial assets. Offering an ecologically conscious and sustainable solution for reconfiguring Urban Logistics Co industrial portfolio into architecturally upgraded facilities.
The redevelopment concepts focus on the adaptive re-use of previously hard-edged industrial sites into dynamic, multi-purpose and multi-tenant office spaces. It’s a two-fold approach to sustainability – the repurposing of existing building stock, utilising the energy already embodied in the structure and reducing the impact associated with demolition and new construction.
As part of the redevelopment strategy for Tottenham Industrial Facility, materials were carefully considered and selected to reflect elements of the existing building fabric to create a harmonious relationship between the newly proposed and existing structures.
